Paul's Stewardship

For this reason I, Paul, 1the prisoner of 2Christ Jesus 3for the sake of you 4Gentiles -
if indeed you have heard of the 5stewardship of God's grace which was given to me for you;
6that 7by revelation there was 8made known to me 9the mystery, 10as I wrote before in brief.
By referring to this, when you read you can understand 11my insight into the 12mystery of Christ,
which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy 13apostles and prophets in the Spirit;
to be specific, that the Gentiles are 14fellow heirs and 15fellow members of the body, and 16fellow partakers of the promise in 17Christ Jesus through the gospel,
18of which I was made a 19minister, according to the gift of 20God's grace which was given to me 21according to the working of His power.
To me, 22the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to 23preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable 24riches of Christ,
and to bring to light what is the administration of the 25mystery which for ages has been 26hidden in God 27who created all things;
so that the manifold 28wisdom of God might now be 29made known through the church to the 30rulers and the authorities in 31the heavenly places.
This was in 32accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in 33Christ Jesus our Lord,
in whom we have boldness and 34confident 35access through faith in Him.
Therefore I ask you not 36to lose heart at my tribulations 37on your behalf, for they are your glory.
For this reason I 38bow my knees before the Father,
from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name,
that He would grant you, according to 39the riches of His glory, to be 40strengthened with power through His Spirit in 41the inner man,
so that 42Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being 43rooted and 44grounded in love,
may be able to comprehend with 45all the saints what is 46the breadth and length and height and depth,
and to know 47the love of Christ which 48surpasses knowledge, that you may be 49filled up to all the 50fullness of God.
51Now to Him who is 52able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, 53according to the power that works within us,
54to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
