Satan Bound

Then I saw 1an angel coming down from heaven, holding the 2key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.
And he laid hold of the 3dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and 4bound him for a thousand years;
and he threw him into the 5abyss, and shut it and 6sealed it over him, so that he would 7not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.
Then I saw 8thrones, and 9they sat on them, and 10judgment was given to them. And I saw 11the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their 12testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not 13worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the 14mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they 15came to life and 16reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. 17This is the first resurrection.
18Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the 19second death has no power, but they will be 20priests of God and of Christ and will 21reign with Him for a thousand years.

Satan Freed, Doomed

When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be 22released from his prison,
and will come out to 23deceive the nations which are in the 24four corners of the earth, 25Gog and Magog, to 26gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the 27sand of the seashore.
And they 28came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the 29camp of the saints and the 30beloved city, and 31fire came down from heaven and devoured them.
And 32the devil who 33deceived them was thrown into the 34lake of fire and brimstone, where the 35beast and the 36false prophet are also; and they will be 37tormented day and night forever and ever.

Judgment at the Throne of God

Then I saw a great white 38throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence 39earth and heaven fled away, and 40no place was found for them.
And I saw the dead, the 41great and the small, standing before the throne, and 42books were opened; and another book was opened, which is 43the book of life; and the dead 44were judged from the things which were written in the books, 45according to their deeds.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and 46death and Hades 47gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them 48according to their deeds.
Then 49death and Hades were thrown into 50the lake of fire. This is the 51second death, the lake of fire.
And if anyone's name was not found written in 52the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
