1 1The LORD reigns, let the 2earth rejoice; Let the many 3islands be glad.

4Clouds and thick darkness surround Him; 5Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.

6Fire goes before Him And 7burns up His adversaries round about.
4
His 8lightnings lit up the world; The earth saw and 9trembled.
5
The mountains 10melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, At the presence of the 11Lord of the whole earth.

The 12heavens declare His righteousness, And 13all the peoples have seen His glory.
7
Let all those be ashamed who serve 14graven images, Who boast themselves of 15idols; 16Worship Him, all you gods.
8
Zion heard this and 17was glad, And the daughters of Judah have rejoiced Because of Your judgments, O LORD.
9
For You are the LORD 18Most High over all the earth; You are exalted far 19above all gods.
10
20Hate evil, you who love the LORD, Who 21preserves the souls of His godly ones; He 22delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
11
23Light is sown like seed for the righteous And 24gladness for the upright in heart.
12
Be 25glad in the LORD, you righteous ones, And 26give thanks to His holy name.
