The Changeless Christ

Let 1love of the brethren continue.
Do not neglect to 2show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have 3entertained angels without knowing it.
4Remember 5the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body.
6Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; 7for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
Make sure that your character is 8free from the love of money, 9being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, "10I WILL NEVER * DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER * FORSAKE YOU,"
so that we confidently say, "11THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID. WHAT WILL MAN DO TO ME?"
Remember 12those who led you, who spoke 13the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, 14imitate their faith.
15Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
16Do not be carried away by varied and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to 17be strengthened by grace, not by 18foods, 19through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.
We have an altar 20from which those 21who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.
For 22the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside the camp.
Therefore Jesus also, 23that He might sanctify the people 24through His own blood, suffered 25outside the gate.
So, let us go out to Him outside the camp, 26bearing His reproach.
For here 27we do not have a lasting city, but we are seeking 28the city which is to come.

God-pleasing Sacrifices

29Through Him then, let us continually * offer up a 30sacrifice of praise to God, that is, 31the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.
And do not neglect doing good and 32sharing, for 33with such sacrifices God is pleased.
34Obey your leaders and submit to them, for 35they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with grief, for this would be unprofitable for you.
36Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a 37good conscience, desiring to conduct ourselves honorably in all things.
And I urge you all the more to do this, 38so that I may be restored to you the sooner.

Benediction

Now 39the God of peace, who 40brought up from the dead the 41great Shepherd of the sheep through 42the blood of the 43eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord,
44equip you in every good thing to do His will, 45working in us that 46which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, 47to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
But 48I urge you, 49brethren, bear with this 50word of exhortation, for 51I have written to you briefly *.
Take notice that 52our brother Timothy has been released, with whom, if he comes soon, I will see you.
Greet 53all of your leaders and all the 54saints. Those from 55Italy greet you.
56Grace be with you all.
